Nice gesture. Are you using sized paper? These look very much like the Chinese gouache on rice paper.

Thanks John. I'm using 140lb Arches (hot press) paper for small studies like this. It holds up well under abuse.

@ Rachel: Yeah that Fairwood orange background was getting pretty intense after a couple of weeks.
